Four reanimated shinobi have been sent there by Kabuto including Gaara's own undead father. Gaara's father, the former Kazekage, ordered his son murdered for failing to control his Shukaku. Now that they meet again, Gaara may need to prove to his father once and for all, that he is a good Kazekage and a good person. The village is anxious to find a suitable jinchuriki for their Shukaku and the Kazekage is going mad trying to figure out what to do with his son Gaara and his inability to control Shukaku inside him. Kazekage gives orders to Yashamaru to test Gaara. Yashamaru was to provoke him emotionally by talking to him about his beloved mother Karura. Kazekage wanted Gaara to keep his cool to prove to Kazakage that he is worth keeping as Jinchuriki.   The task may have been easier to Yashamaru than Kazekage thought because he always despised Gaara for taking so much of Karura and of course for killing her while giving him birth. Yashamaru showed up masked and ready. When he spotted Gaara he threw barrage of kunai at Gaara without saying a single word. Gaara's sand shield caught all kunai and Gaara retaliated at once fatally wounding his opponent.   Gaara unmasked the man only to discover his own uncle Yashamaru, who in his dying words explained to Gaara that his own father ordered this test, but deep down Yashamaru resented Gaara for taking Karura's life. Yashamaru also explained that his sister did not want another child. She needed to perform for the purposes of the village. Karura named her underdeveloped child Gaara saying, "This child will be known as Gaara, a demon that loves only itself." Yashamaru added "You were never loved."   Kazekage seeing that Gaara failed to maintain his composure, decided that Gaara isn't suited to be the jinchuriki.   Lord Mu, another particle just user, one of the reanimated Shinobi, the former Second Tsuchikage attacked Ohnoki the current Third Tsuchikage of Hidden Stone Village and master of particle jutsu as well. Gaara uses Sand Hail to distract his father so to grab his body from the bottom and make him detract his gold sand. When Gaara's dad attacked from top, two sand hands covered Gaara from top. Gaara's father commented saying that Karura must still live inside Gaara's body to protect him.   The Fourth Kazekage bound by the sand of his own son admitted to failing to see Gaara's true powers. He now sees that Shukaku, the vengeful Spirit of the Sand, would never protect Gaara the way Kuraru does through sand.   "Your mother loved you", Gaara's father said to Gaara and continued "I ordered Yashamaru to lie to you to test the Tailed Beast inside you." Karura's loved sipped through sand that is now protecting you no matter what.   Impressed with Gaara and so so proud the former Kazekage leaves the Hidden Sand Village to his son Gaara the Kazekage of the Sunagakure.   Itachi and Nagato have been reanimated! Nagato wants to be on Naruto's side as he believes in him. As it is with Kabuto's reanimation Nagato has no choice but to fight. The title of next Naruto Shippuden 298 is "Contact! Naruto vs Itachi". The Neighbors – Review Jan 28th 2013, 00:02 What would you do if you found out someone living in your building is a serial killer? A man, whose identity is known, kills his own neighbors ― including a middle-school girl ― living in his building, and continues to stay there even after committing the grisly murders. All the neighbors in the film are reluctant to act due to self-interest. One character does not want the property price to fall after a scandal. Another wants to avoid attention from the police, as he has just five months left before his statute of limitations runs out. Some simply do not want to meddle without evidence, clinging to their daily routines. Meanwhile, the criminal continues to kill. This film is a bit different in a way that it reveals who the murderer is from the beginning of the film. Although there isn’t much time to build the characters up, each character is unique in his/her way (in other words, you won’t have to worry about mixing up the characters). Actors and actresses did a fantastic job of acting out specific character. From times this film is very suspenseful, and in other instances, it is quite funny. This film has got me ponder about trust, and communications among people. Also, people are so hesitant about making the right decision. When someone’s life is at stake, we must do everything to help. In common sense, it is right to notify the police when someone raises suspicion (of possible murder). There could have been a lot less victims had people taken actions. The Neighbors is based on a popular web comic by none other than Kang Pool, whose previous work has been adapted into Late Blossom and Pained (both 2011) among others. While they are concerned a lot about the re-development to come, the people in the apartment building are disturbed by a terrible incident in their neighbourhood. There is a serious killing case which has not been solved by the police yet, and its latest victim is a young middle school girl who lives in their apartment building. Her stepmother (Kim Yoon-jin) has been tormented by her guilt due to the fact that she could have saved her stepdaughter at that time, and now she sees her ghost coming back to their home every night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWo-Tok4SbU Though nobody gets enough screen time to fully develop as a character, perhaps director Kim Whee was reticent to trim too much out of the original work but he should have taken some care to adapt the story into a workable film format. Noteworthy in one of these roles is Ma Dong-seok as a very tough ex-con you wouldn't want to cross in the parking lot. I admire the effort but it may have been better served in a longer form medium such as a mini-series. Then again this seems to be an endemic problem throughout Kim Whee's work. The acting is professional throughout, leading it is Soo-yeon's incredibly obnoxious young Mom and the old janitor, who sees his chance for extra tips. All in all, a decent thriller.
