Son Goku, much like Kurama, doesn't trust Jinchuriki on principle. Evidently they just want to imprison them and use them for power. Naruto may be a fool for wanting to be friends with Tailed Beasts.
16 years ago Nine Tails got sealed inside new born Naruto. From the day that Fourth Hokage sealed him inside Naruto, the Nine Tailed beast had watched Naruto growing up and using more and more of his chakra. When Naruto joined the academy, he had to tap a bit more into the raw power of Nine Tails. At first the act was subconscious. Later, Naruto learned to use the extra power on regular basis, but this is what Karuma counted on. He wanted Naruto to borrow enough chakra for the seal to weaken so that he the almighty Nine Tailed Fox could escape.
Nine Tails figured that he must make Naruto hate more, because it's the hatred that makes Naruto draw more chakra and in the process weaken the Eight Trigram Seal. When Pain attacked the Hidden Leaf, Naruto was pinned down to the ground when Kurama addressed Naruto offering his power. Seeing the carnage Pain left behind, many of his own friends, Naruto felt he had no choice but to open the seal and have the Nine Tails get free. When he was about to scrap the seal, he was approached by his father, the Fourth Hokage.
For the last time, Minato resealed the Nine Tails, but Naruto did open the seal once again to try to control the beast. Using a Super Giant Rasengan he attacked the Nine Tails, but that seemed to have barely scratched the TailedFox. Naruto got pinned down, but managed to throw Kurama over his shoulder and slam him down. Naruto attacked with Rasen Shuriken, then with help of his clone Naruto started drawing the Tails' chakra.
You can't control my chakra, you're just a small portion of my chakra" At this time numerous heavy chains sprouted towards the Nine Tails and pinned him down. Recognizing that this chakra came from Kushina, its previous Jinchuriki, Naruto's mother, the Nine Tails screamed. Clone Jutsu produced many Naruto's clones all weaving Rasengan comprising a huge Rasengan Barrage that ultimately overpowered the Nine Tail. Naruto drew the chakra in and followed to capture Kurama once again.
Trapped again, Kurama tried to make sense out of what just happened to him. 'He took a lot of chakra from me, even though he is just a… just what is he?" Will Nine Tails ever learn to trust Naruto? Do Naruto's feelings matter? Will the Tailed Beasts ever be truly conquered? Watch
